The Book Cosy pattern was born out of the desire to protect my books while I transported them in my bag, as they were forever getting damaged.

The Book Cosy pattern is beginner friendly, but also ideal for those with a little more experience in sewing and makes for an exceptionally quick sew, making these ideal to make as last minute gifts.  They are also great for using up precious offcuts of fabric.  Why not make one for every season?  Or get even more creative and make your own fabric using a spare quilt block, embroidering a design or woodblock printing on plain fabric?
